PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Specific functions of project management include the following: scheduling and planning engineering, manufacturing, testing, construction, installation and commissioning; monitoring interim performance of all contractor and subcontractor activities; monitoring all purchases from suppliers to ensure that schedules, cost containment, quality control and performance criteria are maintained; reporting project performance to customer and team members; managing relationships and system integration with the customer and other team members; supporting technical interchange meetings; and providing a method and forum for issue resolution. In short, project management spearheads, maintains and controls the project until successful completion, keeping senior management abreast of project progress all the while. |

FLS RAHCO has an experienced Project Management Department. Once a contract has reached the negotiation stage, project responsibility transfers to project management and a project manager is assigned. Project management provides the necessary management across all disciplines to ensure the overall project is completed to meet the customer’s specifications on time and on budget. Project management integrates quality assurance through all aspects of the contract and furthermore ensures overall excellence by organizing and controlling the project, people, processes, procedures, materials and tools.
